Is this the place to discuss issues that are more of a design issue than a real bug? I have a lot of those... most are minor, and some are a bit bigger that (if you like the idea) you might put into a future release.

One example is the menu that comes up when you press the options button while watching something. It's just too big and cluttered with a whole bunch of stuff I hardly ever use. In my case, it's so large it scrolls.

I love the cascaded menus used elsewhere in Gemstone. Could this model be applied to the OSD as well? An alternative would be to permit people to enable/disable items that are shown on that menu, but I like that idea less.

Absolutely... this is the place.

And I totally agree... this is one spot that I know we can do better BUT it's a complex menu to incorporate and other plugins add to this menu so we need to handle that as well.

We may just put the customize menu up first with a few user preferred options included from the first menu and allow the first menu to be launched as a second menu... if that makes sense. I have used that concept in other cases.

Please add an issue to the issues site and mark it as an enhancement so we don't forget about it.

And... we are open to suggestions of the most recent used functions from the existing first menu.

I think I know what you mean. I saw that technique used in other places where an option on the menu was "Default sage menu" or something like that.
