How do you watch netflix on Sagetv

I have been searching for days trying to figure out how to watch netflix on my sageTV. I am using the Gemstone UI. I read on here somewhere that it is possible but need a step by step procedure.

I have netflix working on windows media center.

I don't want to use playon. I tried that and didn't like the quality.

Since WMC does Netflix pretty well, I use Eventghost to set one of the buttons on my remote to put Sage to sleep and launch this .bat file:
Code:
start windowsmediacenterapp:{e6f46126-f8a9-4a97-9159-b70b07890112}\{982ea9d3-915c-4713-a3c8-99a4688b7c59}?EntryPointParameters=
This will go straight to Netflix in WMC. I imagine you could make a menu item in Gemstone to do it too.

But that will only work on PC clients, not on extenders.

Has Netflix finally arrived in the year 2013, aka do they now include 5.1 audio streams, or is that still only possible if you're watching via a Sony Playstation?

Yep. I assumed that's what the OP was using since he said he has Netflix working with Windows Media Center.

I've never really understood why it was so important to have Netflix in Sage since there are so many other ways to get it. It's in so many TVs, Bluray players, cheap Rokus, etc these days. (I've got at least three different ways I can do Netflix.) Any halfway decent universal remote should be able to switch sources fairly seamlessly.

It may require new hardware, but you might try this.

I have three ways to get Netflix on my HT room but I have 8 TVs in the house that all of Sage extenders connected to them. Other than the main TV I don't have any way to get Netflix since these TVs are older and/or are lower end so they don't have internet functionality and the only source at these TVs are cable boxes and Sage extenders. I never bothered buying BluRays for all of my TVs since I prefer using Sage for all of that type of content, who wants to deal with discs these days.
