HDPVR2 (1512) VS HDPVR2 GE PLUS 1504
OK,
I've been reading posts and testing results about the 1512's audio issues for hours now, but I haven't seen anything about the 1504 GE PLUS used with sagetv. Is there any difference or reason the 1504 might be better, or is it the same thing as the 1512 minus the IR blaster? I'm about to bite the bullet and grab either the 1512 or the 1504 so that I can pipe a 1080P signal from my security DVR into the EPG, and have enough resolution to see multiple camera angles without a drop in quality. Obviously sound won't be an issue for this application, but I do plan on transitioning to HD STB at some point this year, and I'm looking for a Hauppauge HDPVR that will do the job through sage.

I can't seem to get my HDPVR 2 setup in sagetv, it says it can't continue setup without a selected audio input, but doesn't give me any audio inputs to select from. It is working through showbiz though.
How do you use the built in IR blaster through sagetv?

It help if install the HD-PVR 2 patch first
