Did The X-Factor kill SageTV?

Last night whilst recording the X-Factor results on ITV1-HD, SageTV crashed miserably at 20:30 and again after 6 minutes after the auto-recovery. After some investigation it looks like the TSSplitter.ax filter caused an exception twice and the second time was so bad that the auto-recovery mechanism didn't work .

Has anyone experienced the same issue? I know, the prerequisite is to watch X-Factor which unfortunately is very popular in my family...

Cheers
Eddy

Looks like it recorded OK on the SD ITV1 on my system last night. Not watched it though (My missus seems to have been weaned off it - which is good)

I suppose it recorded for us on Freeview HD, because I didn't get any complaints.

Every year I delete the Favourite for X-Factor in the hope that they'll come to their senses and stop watching that sh*t. Every year they add it back...

Except for the complaints you'd get I would say setup a script to change it to a manual recording right before it is to start and change the recording times to be off by half an hour. Then they would get so disgusted with only half a show they would stop watching it and you could delete the favorite altogether.

They'd only get it on +1...
