Which license version?

This may be a dumb question...

I'm running Sage server v7.19, but running the exe's that were made available to allow using v6 licenses. I would like to register a placeshifter license on the server. Would I need a v6 placeshifter license, or a v7 license? I installed placeshifter v7 on the laptop, if that makes a difference...

I need to know so I can ask for the correct version of placeshifter license on the marketplace board...

Thanks.

...even though it's been 2 1/2 years since SageTV was sold to google, we still use it daily. It works as good as it did the day I set it all up about 5 years ago. I realize that someday we'll have to abandon it and move to something else. I'm dreading that day.

It matters not. There was no upgrade fee for placeshifter v7. I think any placeshifter license since version 4 or 5 will work.

correct, there is no versioning in the placeshifter or client licenses. Only the server license has a version.
