Did you upgrade right over your V7 installation? I am torn between upgrading my V6 (yes, i know it's ancient but it works) or installing fresh which I am leaning towards. I think in only need to save my wizbin install and then replace it into the new V9 folder. I know that file is pretty big after 8 or 9 years but at least i won't have to repopulate my favorites and Tuners, i think. I am also running SageDCT with HD Prime.

brandypuff - Yes, I installed right over my v7 installation.

Note that I started with v6 and upgraded to v7 a few years ago using the revised v7 binaries (see: https://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56225).

After stopping both SageTV and SageDCT services, I copied the entire SageTV directory to another location just in case, then ran the SageTVSetup_9.0.4.232_RC1.000.exe file.

The SageTV service did not start up, so I found and ran the C:\Program Files (x86)\SageTV\SageTV\SageTVServiceControl.exe and set sage to run as a service, then rebooted again. This time SageTV service started up.
