Yahoo Weather selected and see 37C instead of 3C

Hey.

I have Yahoo Weather selected and Metric (Toronto, Ontario, Canada). I'm seeing 37C instead of 3C (37F). Did something happen to the conversion?

If you need more information let me know.

FYI. This was an upgrade from 7.1.9 and the current Gemstone for v7. Not sure if that's related or not?

Make sure BMT, gemstone and phoenix core are all current.

In BMT there is a new config setting that lets you lock the weather settings

Hope this helps

So, check the "locked" checkbox, and see if that helps

I have seen this happen before but it tends to go away - perhaps I did that by switching weather providers and then switching back. I tend to use Wunderground as I have my own weather station connected into Wunderground so I use that as my weather source.

Well I loaded the Pheonix UI which did look sweet. Trying to customize the browsing of TV Shows it crashed. So I switched back to Gemstone, and now it's displaying properly. The "Locked" option didn't fix it.

Not sure what fixed it. But it's all good

On a side note, I have a weather station at the cottage, which has the ability to upload to Wunderground. How to I connect to a specific Wunderground station? Do I enter something specific in the Location Box?

Under location instead of putting in a city or zip code you put in the PWS identifier - for mine it is PWS:IONTARIO1007. I don't know if it is case sensitive or not. It can be a pain to enter all of this as Sage uses the number keypad to enter text methodology for this.

Okay very cool. When I get the data sync setup, this will be neat. It's an Acurite Smart Hub so the wunderground is built right in!

Thanks

You can enter the location in BMT to make it easier.
