analog tuners no longer work in v9?

cant tune any channels or use a/v input because it says it cant setup software audio compression?

The most common problem is lack of decoder just skip libe tv part and besure get the lav filter

doesnt work,

when i skip over the live tv part it asks me to choose an audio input, none of which are from the tuner
its an avermedia usb mpeg2 m038

its media center compatible and use to work in sage

I see SageTV think it a AVI card device and it is not see it as Hardware Encoder in SageTV.

That's an ancient capture device... NTSC broadcasts were abolished circa 2010, so you won't even be able to tune anything in with it. Might be time for an upgrade. Is it a fresh v9 install, or upgrade from v7?
