sagetv v2 stop during initial loading
i've been running trial now for about a week. this is the second time the software has entered the following state in loading
see splash screen goes through various startup steps get message "Loading User INterface Manager Thread..." and that's all folks... last time i had to re-install. thoughts? |

Are you running the latest verison of java?
Is 3D acceleration enabled or not? If you can't get into SageTV, what is the setting for ui/accelerated_rendering in the properties file? Can you provide other details of your system/SageTV configuration? Maybe someone will see something to comment about. - Andy

ui/accelerated_rendering=false
3d acceleration disabled resolved again (2nd time) by removing sagetv, rebooting and reinstalling.... thankfully recorded shows are preserved. thanks for the help. |

I had similar problem after some crashes, all I did to get it running was to go to C:\Program Files\Frey Technologies\SageTV
and copy Wiz.bak to Wiz.bin and/or Sage.properties.autobackup to Sage.properties. aparently sometimes during the crash (in my case) those original files were corupted.
