Hello Al

Is there any way to get foxtel analog epg data into sage?

If so how do you do it?

Taimou,

Yes this is possible I was doing it before I got Digital.

You need a couple of things....

1) http://www.odgregg.homeip.net/Release.zip <-- TVHarvest used to 'borrow' the ninemsn tvguide this link no longer exists & the author of TV HArvest is traveling around the world for the next 44 days so you may have a long wait

2) http://mta.techno.org/epg/ <--- directionts for getting XMLTV working, it uses the data from step 1

Its pretty easy to setup allthougn unless you can get hold of tvharvest your not going to get very far

regards
Paul

Works fine, had to modify the script to work properly with WA regional stations, but other than that it is good.

It looks like it imports Fox Digital OK as well.

The catch: it runs only under Linux. (Well, possibly Windows if you install the appropriate compilers, but I wouldn't count on it).

The XML source (e1) appears to only build that data Sunday to Sunday.

If you don't have access to a linux machine and are desperate then let me know and I can set up a weekly cron job that will email you the epg file every sunday.

zacca,

Many thanks for that, I'll have a look at it today & let you know how it goes.

Just a quick question regarding it... does it use the foxtel.tv website or ninemsn?

TIA
Paul.

It uses a direct XML feed from Development 1- who have set the feeds up specifically for XMLTV.
