More than one drive for storage?

My hard disk is nearly filled with programs I've recorded with Sage. I'd like to add another hard disk, maybe several. Is there a way to configure Sage so that it will move on to another disk drive when the first is filled, and then on and on to as many drives as I'd care to buy?

Go to Setup -> Detailed Setup -> General -> Video Directories -> Modify -> Add New Directory.

See this FAQ entry for info regarding how the multiple directories will be used in terms of choosing where the next recording will be stored & so on.

Yeah, auto space management is one of Sage's strongest features (in my opinion).

As long as you don't mind Sage managing the space (i.e. don't NEED it on a certain drive, for some weird reason), you should be very happy!

Could you save out to a mapped network drive or would 10/100 be too slow to keep up with a recording?

If you're going to use a network drive, use a UNC path rather than a mapped drive. UNC paths are accessible to v2.1's service mode whereas mapped drives are not.
