go for it ...

BTW:

In the instructions, for those using the PVR350, it might be worth mentioning the PAL thing where u have to edit the registry and sage.properties to switch from NTSC to PAL (as u know the UK uses PAL).
Otherwise, u get a nasty black bar across the bottom of the screen.

ye u guys really should make it a sticky, since there wasnt many guides out there as clear as this for UK users. thanks again robd

As a newbie as far as sage goes, before I read this thread I nearly gave up with frustration with this black band thing.

I have searched the FAQ's but if the registry edit etc. is there it is bloody well hidden 'cos I can't find it.

Please enlighten me

They may be referring to the "ui/fixed_resolution_height" property -- see page 160 in the v2.0 manual.

Unhappy black bar probs

Following the details of the sage manual on page 160 I added the line to "sage Properties" and altered the registry.

However something is still wrong as the screen flickers on a regular basis and the picture jumps up and compresses to the top of the screen making it unwatchable. Any advice greatfully recieved
