When you're done viewing the show it will resume ComSkip processing on the show it was already working on.

Let me know if you're interested.

I have exactly this problem (comskip makes the OSD sluggish), and would love to do some testing, as long as it doesn`t require running your stv, as currently it is too cpu heavy for my machine. Given that this is a project to move comskip out of the stv, can I still do the testing?

That means that it's not able to load a java library correctly. Best bet it to reload both ZIP 1 & 2.

Sorry, but it will require my STV to use it as there will be STV related changes too.

Imported Video files and Folder.jpg's

Prior to running the Cayars17, is was running MlbDude2.stv. One thing I miss is the ability to display the Folder.jpg for each of my Imported Movies. This made browsing my Imported movies nice.

Does Cayars17 support images in the imported videos, maybe with a different name than Folder.jpg?

Thanks.

Robert.

Robert, this is a standard feature built into Sage 2.1 and above. Check the manual and it's give you all the info you need.

I've reloaded all the zips from scratch in a fresh sage install of 224 and continue to get the error. I can see the class file in net\sf\sageplugins\sagemenu. Could it be something in the registry?

Try this:
1) Uninstall any and all Java installations.
2) Reboot
3) Install Java 5 (1.5)
4) Unzip the JavaR1.zip into the c:\program files\<Java1.5 directory>\lib\ext folder
When unzipping don't overwrite anything that is already in the folder.
Then try again.

I've been having an odd problem. It started with 16 and continues in 17, I haven't made any major changes other than the Cayars update (running the 2.2.2. beta without a single problem), so I don't know what triggered this...

When I'm viewing a recording and the EOF delete matrix pops up, I select "like, watched, delete" and hit "ok". My computer suddenly shuts down and immediately restarts. And it's not like "restart" has been selected, it is a hard shutdown (TV and monitor both go black immediately) and I get the "system shut down unexepectedly" error box when it restarts, so I guess it is more of a hard crash than a shut down.

If I use the manual yes/no deletion in "Recordings" or anywhere else, I don't have any problems. Sorry, I didn't think to try it with the other EOF choices.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, but I moved all of my 'folder.jpg' images into each one of the DVD Video_TS folders, refreshed the Media Library, but still no pictures. I am running SageTV 2.1.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Robert.

When you redid all the zips did you redownload them or did you use the ones you previously downloaded? If you have an older download maybe your zip file is corrupt.

I chose a screen name based on my computer adventures before . . . Sparky. I prefer not to tell this whole story.

I don't think I phrased my previous response specifically enough. When I said old download I didn't mean an old version of the core files I meant old as in when you downloaded it. I wanted to know if when you redid everything recently if you tried to download all 3 zip files again or if you had used the original files you tried downloading. I would just try and re-download all 3 zip files and try again. Maybe your corefiles zip is somehow corrupt or something.

I think he has a mis-matched set of files to since I think they were updated around that time.

Am I the only one using 18B that has noticed that its not autoskipping the marked commercials, even though its set to autoskip them?

As I posted earlier today, 18B is comskip auto processing for me so I can't notice it not doing what it is doing.

I did a new install including Client so that may be the difference. On a Client it only takes a couple minutes. Exit Sage Client. Rename SageTV dir. Install Client selecting Repair. (which installs it all in new SageTV dir without need to enter key again) Unzip/install CoreR2 & 18B. Test & config then delete renamed SageTV dir. Worked 3 out 3 Clients for me. (I don't fool around with this stuff on my Server)

Just ran a test and it's not skipping commercials on my client machine.

Edit: just rant TestA and it skips just fine on the same show.
