HD200 Placeshifting via Internet

I'm trying to get an HD200 to work remotely across the Internet. Cable Modems on both sides. I can connect to the server fine but trying to play back recordings is slow and jerky. It's as if server thinks HD200 is on the same LAN and is not transcoding to stream across the Internet. I am using 6.5.5 server and latest firmware update on HD200. Is there a sever setting I am missing or something? :-)

Thank you!

Ok, I think it was the STV I was using. I had installed 6.5.6 server over 6.4.8 but I chose to use the STV I had loaded with comskip STVi instead of loading the comskip STVi into the new default STV. I loaded the comskip STVi into the new default STV and all is well.

FWIW, I have since completely removed 6.4.8 (backed up wiz.bin and properties) loaded 6.5.6 (restored wiz.bin and properties) and everything is working great. I like the HD200 and it is working well as a Placeshifting client over the Internet. Very high GAF and once again she thinks I'm a genious. :goodjob:
