In case you aren't aware, there's a plugin to automate changes to satellite tuning details. I only became aware of it recently; it is hidden away in the Europe Miscellaneous forum here...

Thanks, it's useful to have an up to date scan.

I hate doing scans because of past experiences of Sage messing things up behind the scenes. This way I don't have to :)

I'm not sure why your scan on your HDHomerun tuner is timing out, that's odd. The only problems I've had have been with scans on my DVB-T2 tuner, which does timeout when it encounters a frequency...
