well aside from DVDshrink, I have DVDdecrypter and PGCedit which can make sure I have a copy of whatever I own.

I will check out the freeware of this.. I think I might look at nero recode first...

I finally got all my DVDs ripped using DVDshrink. Now I'm looking to burn them to CD. My movie directory is set up so Sage can read it like this:

MovieName\VIDEO_TS\files

I hope so too. I've had really bad luck with Maxtor on more than one occasion. I'm using Seagate now and haven't had any problems (of course, now that I've typed this.......)
