irremote, Harmony, and long hex codes

Hi all,

I've just purchased a Harmony remote and I've been reading Opus4's excellent guide to customising the irremote.ini file to work with multiple applications.

Some experiences of SageTV 6.4

I thought it may be worth posting my experiences of SageTV 6.4.

I'm a SageTV user from several years ago. I initially purchased version 2 and then upgraded to 3, then 4. I stayed on 4 because it...

I'll give that a try and let you know how it goes; thanks for the tip. Having said that, I'll have to wait until I can get the TV fixed, because it's decided to pack up on me this weekend.

Sage 2.2 disables screensaver even when using PVR350 TV out

Hi all,

I'm using SageTV 2.2, with the Hauppauge PVR350. "hardware decoding only" is enabled, so when watching a show it only appears on the TV, not on the PC monitor, which is what I want.

Hi guys - thanks for the responses - most helpful!

I didn't realise that the PVR250 handles DVD playback - that's excellent. With the AIW and DVD playback, I meant that the AIW software suite can...

I'm building a PC which will be used as a PVR, MP3, and DVD player among other things. Should I go for a Hauppauge PVR 250, 350, or an ATI All-in-wonder?

Arguments for an AIW card are:...
