This can be done. I do scheduled recordings of shows all the time like this. However, not every app offers live streaming, a lot only offer on demand.

Nope, this is a Windows 7 SP1 VM with only one account, Admin. This is a clean install of Windows as well, nothing has been installed except the security patches, Java 8, and STV.

I never installed SageTV in the Programs folder, I run it on a SSD drive in Q:\SageTV....
