I don't think there is a way to easily set EPG guide data, but there is a plugin to facilitate the naming of Timed Recordings. Would that do the trick?

Or you should be able to do that in the web...

Good to know. I won't worry about paying extra for a TV with AndroidTV. I still prefer HD200s and HD300s as my clients but they can't do 4K. That doesn't matter to me yet but it may at some point...

The OP didn't mention anything about running Windows in a VM. I assumed that they were running SageTV in a docker, not in a Windows VM, but I could be wrong.
