how do you get rid of the pictures panning? Once we upgraded to v7, our pictures now pan in the screensaver slideshow - and nobody here (my family) likes it but I can't figure out how to turn it...

you tell sage to change channels... so it stops recording what you are watching, starts a new file, tells your STB to change...

Just an endorsement for the Patterson - it works great, never had an issue. I do have a problem receiving ESPN2 in HD, so Patterson is smart enough to automatically tune in the SD version of that...

With anydvd installed on your server, you don't even need to rip it. For our netflix discs, we just put them in the server and watch them on the HD Extenders without issue. No need to rip it.

There is an option to do it, I saw it yesterday. If you go into the Detailed Setup, Customize, near the bottom is an option "Display Pop-Up when a new drive is detected". Set that to Disabled.
