Lose Channels With Sage Service Running?

I'm giving SageTV another try, to see if the random stuttering issue I had before will go away with the new version.

I'm having a new problem. Whenever I run Sage Service, I loose my TV channels....

Yes, that's the thread. I'd forgotten it was a random issue, not a constant issue.

The machine is a standard HP 3330f. It plays back fine under WMC.

The reason I posted this thread was I didn't see a lot of current discussion of stuttering. 2 years ago it was very common. With my old HTPC it was only a problem once the recording got to be over...

It's in detailed setup somewhere (and is not hard to find). I believe the default is 2 minutes--I've changed it to 5.

The other thing that could cause this is delay in tuning the channel.
