I've got a new power adapter on my 1212 and have had it fixed at 720p for years. The audio drop outs are a known thing with DirecTV, you can find all sorts of complaints about it on the DBS boards....

Yep, I'm on DirecTV too. The sync issues only happen with one of my two DirecTV boxes. It's actually an old H20-100 receiver, it still even has the older GUI, which i guess will stay where it is at...
