My Sage server has been running Windows 7 32-bit for years back when I needed 32-bit to load some firewire and Hauppauge analog tuners. I''m now at a point where I'd like to rebuild it and run...

I won't be getting rid of Sage either, but that cable bill....wow. OTA doesn't do it for me, it's basic cable. As long as no other option allows seamless integration with the HD-PVR, I'll be...

Sage on life support

Based on the number of posts, and the fact making it open-source didn't correspond to an influx of new users, I can only assume all the efforts lately are just for die-hard users. This is a shame.

Back to the OP, I have three HD300's and one of them is a spare. I don't think anything compares to the Sigma based devices.

Nothing will replace it IMO until the new device does MPEG-2 and closed...

I can't say any of those OP suggestions hold a candle to closed-captions and embedded subtitle support, IMO. Right now an HDx00 extender is required for that, and they won't last forever.

I know...
