Sage moves my recordings nightly to NAS via cron job. I don't stop/start sage, it just finds the files in their new location automatically.

(And then the NAS keeps the drives balanced.)

I don't know how good a job the sage server does at keeping time, but if you are running your own ubuntu server, you might as well install the ntp client on it. it'll pretty much do it's thing...

I also found that nothing was populated in my scheduled recordings even after the full EPG downloaded. Once I restarted Sage, it immediately computed the recording schedule.

Out of town on vacation, and didn't change over to SD before we left, so mine server will still be banging away at the old EPG server until we get back next week. Wonder how many others are as well?
