I have this issue with WMC and the HDHR prime....
I have this issue with WMC and the HDHR prime. Restarting the computer fixes the problem. I wonder if the DHCP server (router) is assigning a different IP address to the prime and WMC needs a restart...

Are the IP addresses on the client and server being assigned by a DNS server?
Any new devices with an IP address coming and going from the network? Laptop, etc...
I would try a different switch...
