built new server (9.2.1.826) but unable to get recording to display as it did on my old version (9.0.13.536)

Upgrade to V9
I have 7 installed and need to upgrade to version 9. I downloaded the v9 installer but I need details on upgrading THE current before moving forward.

HDMI Audio
When starting computer (windows7) I can hear the windows start up jingle but when SageTV starts there is no audio.
Now if I unplug the HDMI cable and plus it back in I get audio.

I hooked up the USB-UIRT and it does great on the controlling the SageTV app and I went through the source setup and chose the USB-UIRT as the blaster controller but it does not work. Any suggestion?
