Wow! I never realized how badly firewire had fallen out of favor. You cant find these cables anywhere but microcenter in my area!

Ok so i made the switch to Insight and I see they have all this video on demand content. Any chance someone wrote an add in for Sage that can facilitate this?

well a little more research has netted some more...

well a little more research has netted some more info. Looks like some of the Direct TV boxes can use ethernet to change the channel.

It also looks like the Patterson serial/USB devices can tune...

Greg, You should easily be able to that, but I'd bet it's not network related. If you're link is Gig E you likely aren't saturating that, but, rather, your disk i/o is likely high.

Ok I found out Sage apparently does not using ports com 11 and 12. I reloaded the drivers and they pulled up as com3 and com4. Now it works. Quirky!! (Although it's probably in the documentation...

Well I am happy to report that ALL DVD's now work...

Well I am happy to report that ALL DVD's now work in sage 6.1.8. All dvd's that had issues before, now work!! Great job Sage!!!!! I have 0 compaints now!!!
