DirectShow WDM Capture Manager is initializing...

Requesting help installing SageTV - Win 7

I had to reinstall Windows 7. SageTV had been working well. When I downloaded SageTV and tech support sent me my activation codes.

Installation asked for my code. I typed in my upgrade code....

HDPVR - TS files

What's a good editor for the TS files the HDPVR records? I was able to edit one with MPEG Video Wizard. But upon playback, the audio is out of sync by about a second.

HDPVR - No Sound

HDPVR was working OK ( though having IR problems) when I brought it up and there's no sound. Sometimes when I change channel, I hear 1/8 of a second of sound, then it goes dead. And Ideas?

The wierd thing is how I setup a whole lineup of channels in the source setup. Then, that lineup disappeared...

Strange thing now is, the box always needs to be turned on/off after bootup to be recognized. The IR started working....

I purchased SageTV 4 and updgraded to version 5 (noticed no real difference). Recently I downloaded Version 6 trial. What's the best, most economical, way for me to upgrade to version 6?

That's encouraging about component over s-video. I may be picking up a HD Dish receiver that has component and dish tomorrow. Correction: My old card was a WinTV 150,not the 350. Not much difference....

Regarding the infrared blaster. When I change channels, I can see the blaster's light blinking. So some kind of signal is being sent to the LED. But the Dish Network receiver it's attached to does...

I uninstalled SageTV 5 and installed the trial SageTV 6.6. The picture came right up. But the picture looks like CRAP compared to with the WinTV 350 PCI card. I adjusted the video to highest quality...

It's that nut over the keyboard. I didn't have the sound input cable plugged into the Hauppauge 150 :rolleyes: card.
