Requesting help installing SageTV - Win 7
I had to reinstall Windows 7. SageTV had been working well. When I downloaded SageTV and tech support sent me my activation codes.
Installation asked for my code. I typed in my upgrade code....

Possible to edit HD-PVR's .TS files?
Once I had a Hauppauge PCI card that did a great job of recording my TV programs in MPEG-2 format which I could quickly and easily edit using Womble MPEG Video Wizard. Now I have fantastic HD video...

Are there any better alternatives to the IR Blaster? I'm new to using the HD-PVR

HDPVR - TS files
What's a good editor for the TS files the HDPVR records? I was able to edit one with MPEG Video Wizard. But upon playback, the audio is out of sync by about a second.

HDPVR - No Sound
HDPVR was working OK ( though having IR problems) when I brought it up and there's no sound. Sometimes when I change channel, I hear 1/8 of a second of sound, then it goes dead. And Ideas?

Strange thing now is, the box always needs to be turned on/off after bootup to be recognized. The IR started working....

Upgrade question
I purchased SageTV 4 and updgraded to version 5 (noticed no real difference). Recently I downloaded Version 6 trial. What's the best, most economical, way for me to upgrade to version 6?

I uninstalled SageTV 5 and installed the trial SageTV 6.6. The picture came right up. But the picture looks like CRAP compared to with the WinTV 350 PCI card. I adjusted the video to highest quality...

Slow loading here too.
A few weeks ago Vista started taking at least twice as long to load. Since SageTV 4 was the last thing to load, it's likely what is taking so long. There seems to be a pattern emerging.
