Thanks that is what I ended up doing and everything looks good except for the recordings ending early and what not that I mentioned above. I'd really like to get a fix for these if possible.

Seems the issues I was seeing had to do with two different guide types. When I moved to Schedules Direct for all video sources everything appeared correctly in the guide.

Had the same thing happen to me yesterday. In my case its Win7 and I was moving from 9.0 to 9.1. The error I saw was a java exception. Same fix, did a repair install and all was good.
