If you have extenders, I *think* placeshifter will allow you to install it on as many PCs as you want, but are limited to using one per license stored on the server at the same time.

I was thinking of that myself, but decided to just go with USB3 externals. Less heat in the case, less stress on the power supply, and easier to keep dust free.

Mine did that as well, until I replaced a 500GB C drive with a 2TB C drive, and upgraded it from Win7 32bit to Win7 64 bit. Dont know which change fixed it.
