Got you beat, sort of. My network encoder PC for capturing DirecTV is still running XP (w/Service Pack 3!) for the same reason. :D

(the sort of is because my main SageTV server is on Windows 10)

i'm currently running 9.2.0.441 (Windows 64-bit). I assume I could run the 9.2.1 installer and not run into any issues? I originally installed v9 on top of v7 quite a while ago.

Since I changed both the server and network...

Since I changed both the server and network encoder PC's to use jumbo frames on their NICs I haven't had the issue again. Fingers crossed it'll continue to work. :)

So I still am using a Windows XP box as a network encoder for a DirecTV receiver (running SageTV v7). It works fine, but... a while back after something changed, it was either the upgrade to SageTV...
