Could someone create a SageTV linux distribution based on Ubuntu? It would seamlessly load the SageTV interface after the boot screen without displaying the desktop.

Ad supported EPG?

An ad bar could be displayed on the SageTV EPG screen. If SchedulesDirect has a google Adwords account, ads could be displayed and the ad revenue could be used to pay for the EPG.

Houston channels limited guide data

I only have a few hours of guide data for Houston channels KRIV 26.1 and KTRK 13.1. Does anyone else have this problem?

I was thinking "Inherit Favorite Settings" applied to all manual recordings. I understand now. "Inherit Favorite Settings" is used when a recording is converted from a favorite to a manual recording....
