OK, sounds like predefinedvbt.frq needs changing so that channel scan will work, the changes needed depend on your freeview location.

You need to get channel scan working first so that sage builds an frq, then you can map the channels from the frq to the relevant channel in SD.

I suggest looking at the logs as a starting point...

Just did it manually, printed out the .frq for the physical channel numbers and went through all channels we tend to watch and remapped.

Pity Sage doesn't use logical channel numbers from Freeview...

Well got a bit further and actually got a scan to at least start, then Sage crashes.

I presume people who have DVB-S2 working under Linux are not scanning but using prebuilt .frq files ?

So,

I had a DVB-S2 card working fine under Windows but really struggling with the Linux version under Docker, when I do a channel scan no channels are found and it immediately quits before trying...
