Not sure. Maybe because out of the many MCE users there are a few power users that are looking for more? Maybe as MCE usage grows it will actually help SageTV in a way as well.

That is all true, but since I am not limted to a remote I could use WMP or even better JRMC for my music, SageTV for my TV, and WinDVD for my DVD playback.

I see using a mouse with an HTPC as barbaric. Sure it is a PC and you need a mouse and keyboard for setup but once it is setup it should blend into your home theater just like the Tivo or the PVR...

Where did you get meta data from? All the STV's require VMR9 for transparency. Sage does do some trick with Overlay (basically poking holes in things) but I don't think it would work with images...
