Sorry I'm a little late to the party here, but I think we've run into this problem before. I forget if I made of note of it somewhere easier to find.

Edit: Oh, now I remember. It was a different...

H.265 can be very CPU heavy just to decode without hardware acceleration. OpenDCT should be able to transcode it to H.264, but that scenario has not been tested. I suspect the CPU load for decoding...

Edit: Nevermind, I looked it up myself. It appears that the answer is yes. Let's hope this gets us MPEG2 support...

I bought something like this from Amazon and ended up returning it a while ago. It was a pain to deal with in Java because of the 0 length UDP packets. Java can't natively work with that, so you need...

For a typical home, a new router can cause a lot of IP addresses to change. I would probably do something like the following:

1. Power-cycle all of the HDHomeRuns since they might not have tried...

OpenDCT doesn't need the Silicondust BDA drivers to work. The first thing I would do to troubleshoot would be temporarily disable the firewall.

I'll need a little more context. Where are you seeing the error? Is it in a log you can share? This sounds like something you're seeing in event viewer.

I'm not sure about it in the context. Someone else hopefully can clarify if it's supported by SageTV in Linux too.

I don't think anyone has looked very deeply into this, but as you know, the miniclient is an open project, so anyone with interest and the skills can certainly make an attempt to add any feature. I...

You're not wrong. I've used uutx for IR blasting in the manner you described in conjunction with a batch file. It's just that you don't really need to go that route since SageTV already natively...
