I dont' want to be a nay-sayer or a "debbie downer" but everyone seems to be hinging on a single sentence from Jeff that really says nothing at all. It says he is working on sage everyday. I dont' see why this is so significant? I work on projects everyday that never see the light of day. Sometimes for months and months at a time just to have the company say yeah we messed up with that we don't want to do anythign with it anymore.

Its great that Jeff is employed still and working on what he loves, but it really means nothing for us IMHO. The only real good thing I personally pulled out of what he said is that my epg will continue to work for 12 more months at least. To me this means i have 12 months to figure out whats next...nothing more.
</bad mood>

Great to hear from Jeff and hopefully he will continue to push google to do amazing things..

Some people are satisfied with what they have already and what they're hearing. Then, they want to share their feelings. It's called optimism.

Other people prefer to dwell on things they no longer have any control over and choose to complain about it or rain on someone else's parade. This is worse than pessimism, but there's a saying... misery loves company.

I really don't like that I'm the first post in that thread. That post was in response to another. Oh well...

LOL! Well, it did start out as a decent thread, but quickly devolved. I edited my link just for you.

Is it just me or does "debbie downer" sound like she would be from Dallas?

Always makes me think of someone who eats a lot of Little Debbie snack cakes very quickly. "That's person is a Debbie downer."

I guess my mind isn't perverse enough.
