Question OSD on PVR-350 Working

I am interested to know how many people have OSD working with Intel chipset and how many with other chipsets. Please check the chipset you have ONLY if you have OSD working properly through the PVR-350 output ( not video card output)

You need to add some AMD chipsets if you want an accurate poll. Add Nforce, Nforce 2, Nforce 3. Those are just some off the top of my head.

Sorry. you are right but I don't think I can edit a pole. It says something about moderator only. I don't think anyone has had a problem with that chipset have they?

AFAIK, no one has had a problem with the Nforce chipsets and the 350's OSD. But it would be something like that, that should be documented clearly for new users/people building systems, so they have that to consider.

It's tough, making a poll like this. People are using so many kinds of Main boards that it's impossible to get a good overall picture with a forum-type poll.

Maybe create a new poll that is simplified. (please excuse my lack of general knowledge of chipset numbers)

1. Late model Intel (IE: list 3 similar chipsets) - 350 works
2. Late model Intel (IE: list 3 similar chipsets) - 350 broken
3. New model Intel (IE: list 3 similar chipsets) - 350 works
4. New model Intel (IE: list 3 similar chipsets) - 350 broken
5. Same 4 types of options for AMD chipsets
6.
7.
8.

This might give a simple but informative solution. Keep in mind, most people don't have 350's b/c they are more expensive, and before 2.0, you were very limited with your osd options, so most went with 250's and good tv outs. I almost did this, but am glad that my timing went well and I got the 350 the week before 2.0 was released.

Ok, I know everyone can see the poll results but let me summarise nevertheless (for impact)...Of the 18 people who can get the 350 OSD to work, only 1 is using an Intel chipset - the 845. And 5 out of 6 users who can't get the OSD to work properly are using Intel chipsets, including 4 people using the 845 chipset.
