SageTV STP-HD200 HD Theater Information Updates (Notifications only)

STP-HD200 Beta firmware version "20100716 0" is now available for testing.

To use beta firmware:
While using the HD200 as a Media Player (standalone mode), use the remote's number pad to enter the code 2382 ('beta') on the HD200's Settings -> System Update menu in order to tell it to look for the beta version. For help about how to update the firmware, see the HD200's manual (found in the box the unit came in) or this FAQ.

The above method is faster, but you can alternatively use that FAQ's "Recovery Procedure via USB Drive" using these download links, remembering to rename the files to match the FAQ's instructions:

Changes for beta version 20100716-0 include the following:

Core changes:

1. Fix dvd subpicture decoding
2. Add experimental dvb subpicture decoding in transport streams (Need server version at least 7.0.12 and reindexing)
3. Add forcergb option to custom video modes to force rgb colorspace output on hdmi.

Media Player (Standalone) UI changes:

1. None

When using the STP-HD200 as a SageTV media extender, it is recommended that SageTV server beta v6.6.2 or newer be used.
