X-Box (Media Extender?)

I just caught this on the CNN Money site. Looks like MS is looking for the next gen X-Box to act (in part) as a media extender.

Pretty soon, we will be shopping for Microsoft peanut butter. It seems that there really isn't much left that MS hasn't done or tried...

What's scary, is that the 360 (the extender) will probably be more powerful than the MCE "server"

Indeed, 3 symmetrical cores, with 3,2 Ghz each....
What does that compare to in a pc, a 9,6 Ghz cpu with Hyperthreading^3 ?
