Tuning QAM channels
Absolutely brand new user. Just downloaded the trial & am trying to set it up. Sage's configuration wizard picks up analog channels off of my cable feed. I can't seem to get it to pick up/recognize the QAM channels.
So I tried remapping. For example, I remapped channel 100 to 100.10 or '100-10'. The happens to be the local Fox affiliate's HD channel. Sage picks up nothing. The 'preview' is blank. I would try 'adding' a channel but the guide says that option is available from the Channel Setup menu and the only options I see there are remap channel and preview channel (if a picture helps, I can make one and attach it). I'm hoping there's something simple I'm too new to know about here but how do I set up QAM channels in SageTV? BTW, the version used for the trial is 6.0.13.1. Tuner card is a Hauppauge 2250 and the tv feed is cable. I'm running under Vista 32 Home Premium. |
