HD-Pvr stops working in Service Mode

Just rebuilt my SageTV 7.0 server in Windows 8 64-bit. Everything is working fine. When I run it as a service the HD-Pvr doesn't work. My HD Prime works fine. Check user permissions that I am using to run the service and they look good.

Any ideas?

Storage: 4 TB SATA Pool
Clients: 1 x HD-100, 2 x HD-200, 1 x HD-300
Tuners: Hauppauge PVR 500, 2 x HD-PVR, USB-IRT

what's in the debug log files?

most likely it is a permission problem writing to the recording directory.
