Google Photos

For my next project I'm thinking about integrating Google Photos with Sage. I use Sage extensively to display photos in the house (usually via the screen saver) and I use Google Photos to back up all of my stuff, so this seems logical.

Just an FYI in case anybody else is interested.

I took a closer look at this over the past two days and ran into an issue. (Being sick sucks, but it does give you time to read. )

The OAuth method I used for YouTube will not work for GooglePhotos. Instead I will have to use a different method, all of which require an active web server to be running. Unfortunately this is above my skill level and I'm not sure I want to take the time to learn the ins and outs of making it happen. Is there anybody out there with the right skillset willing to collaborate on this?

The OAuth documentation is here: https://developers.google.com/identity/choose-auth

Note that the YouTube plugin uses the protocol for "TV and Device Apps". That protocol does not support the GooglePhotos scope I need.
