What does this property do?

From the 7.0.9 beta announcement:

32. Added property "seeker/fs_mgr_wait_period" which controls the delay between when capture device recording progress is checked (in milliseconds, defaults to 15000)

Can anyone help translate that? It isn't clear to me from the description. Instead of saying it controls the delay between A and B, i am reading it to say it controls the delay between A (the B is missing). I will just change the property when I get home and see what it does but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask before then. I am wondering if increasing the number might help with some bogus halt detected errors I have been getting.

The way I read it is that Sage checks the recording progress every X milliseconds. You can change the value of X milliseconds using this property. I assume that checking the recording progress means looking at the file size to make sure it is growing but there are other things it could check instead.
