Possibly moving from Win7 to unRaid SageTV
Possibly moving from Win7 to unRaid SageTV
Questions I have: 1. is the USB-UIRT supported in unRaid 2. Are the Happauge HVR1600s supported? (also, would it still capture CC?) Hopefully someone might be in the know Last edited by graywolf; 06-07-2020 at 11:21 AM. |

this is only mildly helpful, but i use a usb-uirt with set top boxes connected to 2 hauppauge colossus 2 cards. they live on a win 2012 server vm on unraid that is prevented from ever updating itself. it was a helluva time gettng there, but they have been quite stable.

The USB-UIRT does work but if I remember correctly it only supports one zone in linux rather than the three that it can support in Windows.
Not sure about the 1600.

Not sure about the 1600 as controlling hardware like that can be a bit tricky in VM type environments. I used to have a similar card but for unRAID I just use network connected HDHRs for OTA. You might want to consider one of those as they will definitely work and you can add as many as you want. The dual tuner HDHR can be had on ebay for as little as about $20.

Most of the shows the wife records are the old time westerns and family shows (i.e. Lassie, Big Valley, Perry Mason, etc) so don't really need HD |
