Does Intel CIR Receiver work with Sage?

I'm building up a newSage machine based on the Intel DH67CF Mini-iTX mainboard. This board has a header for an IR receiver which uses the Nuvoton Consumer infrared (CIR) Driver. Does anyone know if this will work with SageTV?

I've got the same board and the CIR header works fine with Sage as it just appears as a normal Media Center remote, however that's not to say I haven't had issues with it, the main one being that occasionally when the PC wakes from sleep the IR will not work and it will require a reboot, I'm not the only one with this issue either as there has been some discussion on the greenbutton.tv

Thanks Bagal,
I've followed through the various links. There does seem to be a problem but my understanding is that if I took the USB path I wouldn't be able to wake the HTPC up from the remote at all. I guess I will go with CIR and hope a Driver or BIOS fix comes along.

Waking from S3 sleep will work fine using a USB IR receiver, I'm not sure about waking from a completely off state, I think that is partly dependent on whether the motherboard supports it.
