HD PVR Beta driver version 1.6.29277

I was having an issue with some of my recordings that had the recording length incorrectly reported and was playing normally but the time line was jumping along at twice the speed of the playback, so it would get to the end of the timeline and only half the show would have been played with no way to see the last half... this driver looks like it will address that issue.

From the notes:

Quote:
Fix problem where the recording length was sometimes incorrectly reported

Fixed an issue where MCE would start, stop and restart the recording when channels were changed

Fixes 29.997/30Hz 30/60Hz detection which might cause audio drift.

Initialize ProcAmp values in Firmware (helps Linux/Mac installations)
sys_status.brightness = 128;
sys_status.contrast = 64;
sys_status.hue = 0;
sys_status.saturation = 64;
sys_status.sharpness = 128;
Notes:
This is the Windows driver only. For the HD PVR application, Arcsoft Total Media Extreme, you need your original CD. Updates to the TME application are available through Arcsoft Connect.

This driver supports 32/64 bit Windows 7 and Vista, plus support for Windows XP.

To install:
Download and unzip the file and run "hcwdriverinstall.exe".

Are the colors showing correct now with this driver or do we still need to specify the correct values in sage.properties as with the previous driver?

I already did the changes and my colors look good so maybe if I install this driver on top the beta I have it won't mess with the colors right?

I'm running Sage 7 on Windows 7.

I tried the new driver and my contrast was really bad. This was on a fios STB. Motorola 6xxxx.

If we use the new driver then we have to adjust everything for the colors and contrast someplace?

You have to change them in the sage.properties file manually.
