AndroidTV on a Raspberry Pi

Anybody ever try this and then try running the SageTV Android app? As far as I can find it only works on older versions of the Pi - as in an RPi3

Clients - 2xHD-300, 8xHD-200 Extenders, Client+2xPlaceshifter and a WHS which acts as a backup Sage server
