Cool Guide Concept
Check out this guide that Verizon FIOS TV is introducing. I like the way that the highlighted row expands to display a little more program info. Could this be done via a UI mod plugin? Just thought I would share and get others feedback.

I don't know about the regular UI, but should I ever add a TV grid to TiSageTV, that would definitely work for the iPad version, which is already using a similar concept of expanding the selected row...

So is the expanded box fixed in the middle? Or does it move around with every move within the screen? Do you move the "cursor" (highlighted box) around within the menu and then press enter to get the info to pop up? Or does it automatically follow the cursor around? I'm thinking that, if the goal is the former (to have the info in the middle of the listings instead of at the top or the bottom), someone could just put the existing info panel (for which a plugin already exists that moves it from top to bottom) in the middle, and then create a fixed focus highlighted in the guide just above the info panel. So when you scrolled up and down in the guide, the channels would scroll behind the panel, which would stay there in the middle, showing whatever was highlighted in the cursor box above it. (hope that makes sense)

PJ, I think what you are saying makes total sense. I think the highlighted area of the guide would stay in the middle, so when you pressed the down arrow, the grid would move up.
