WMC 7 - miss sagetv (?s)

So I'm building an htpc for a friend and he currently has an xbox360 which he wants to use as an extender - so WMC7 is what I've promised. Problem is I've simply run into too many unstable issues to warrent the clean handoff without constant tech calls.
Now I must say after 1wk of high cpu issues, plugin issues, and general nausia about the inflexibility of WMC ........ I miss sagetv.

Can anyone either tell me; 1) WMC7 is great and just keep tweaking the setup and you'll get there, or 2) How I can run a xbox360 from a sagetv server - can the xbox access a simple file system or run xbmc?

thanks

BTW - After this past week I absolutely appreciate the sagetv plugin system and the unified forum community support center. +2 to sagetv

Hi, I am coming from using WMC 7 and I also have an x-box that gets used as an extender. I currently now use Sage for my OTA recordings but access the files it produces with my X-box (and my Boxee). In the Current beta of Sage you can select that it use Season and episode numbers in file names. If you install media browser for WMC 7 , you can then have a nice interface on the x-box to browse local content from the server produced by Sage.

Cool info - thanks.

On another "holly crap" note...... is it really true I can't connect an additional PC as a client to the server (in WMC)? Is this what all that softsled crap was about? It's really unbelievable how nice wmc is in some aspect and then how horrible it is with others.
