HD PVR-2?????? HDMI IN

Anyone ever used this? Can we finally pull HDMI (1080p) off of DTV, etc... into Sage instead of being locked into component (1080i)?

I haven't used it but I doubt it would work with a cable box because they probably use HDCP (HDMI encryption). You could use an expensive device that breaks HDCP but it is adding on extra complexity/cost for a video upgrade that will only be marginally (IMO) better.
